My park is very busy during certain times of the year. Do I have to honor half-price and lose my regular customers to be part of Happy Camper Club? In a word... no. While most of our parks love to fill their empty sites ALL year, some parks have extremely busy peak seasons. Peak season (if you have one) is, and will continue to be an extra-profitable time for your park. Simply note in the "restrictions" area of the "Add My Park" form any dates that you CANNOT host Happy Campers at the discount rate. You may choose to have no visits during that time, or you might indicate a late afternoon check-in time to insure that your regular customers have all day to check in! Most parks exclude the Major Holidays.
Do I have to change my procedures, set aside sites, take coupons instead of money, endure inspections, and all those hassles some other clubs require? No way. We won't do it at our parks, and we wouldn't ask you to change anything you have been used to doing. Let's keep it simple, we'll do our job for you, you do your job for the campers, and let's enjoy working together and enjoy each visit from our campers!
Can I limit how long a camper can stay at half price? Of course you can - it's your park, and you make the rules! You may allow as many or as few days as you want. (*One comment: of the 1000+ parks we've talked with, almost every single one has a monthly rate which, if figured on a nightly basis - your normal rate times 30 days - is actually half price! If that's the case at your park, wouldn't longer stays be better, more budgetable income sources like your monthlies?) Please set whatever policy makes sense for your park.
What other benefits are there for park owners besides meeting new customers and being able to sell Happy Camper memberships? So many, where do we start? Here are the most important ones:

boats, play your mini
golf and remember your
gracious hosting and
tell others about you

word-of-mouth we all
work so hard for.
