"We have stayed in 3 HC parks since we joined in June, and have enjoyed all our stays. Stayed at Blackhawk Valley in Rockford IL; Rush No More in Sturgis SD, Hazen Bay Recreation Area in ND.

We use HC in conjunction with our other memberships (Thousand Trails and RPI). As fulltimers on a limited budget, it is essential for us to minimize costs. There is no way we could RV if we had to pay full price for campgrounds." ~Jill Ferrer

Been to a great campground lately?  Is there one that could use improvement?  Let's talk about YOUR campground experiences here.

*** Please remember:  Many campgrounds are also members of our network.  They are here because they care what RVers want - so if you've had a bad experience, please do not use this forum to "bash" the campground - simply tell us what could be improved.  This will help campground operators serve you better.

We stayed at Green Acres campground in Savannah, Tn. It is a beautiful place large sites. They didn't have picnic tables (some were  arriving over the weekend) They rounded up a small table for us. Owners were very friendly and helpful.

(Only bad thing no bathrooms.)

Thinking about going to Nashville to visit Opryland? Lots of RV Park choices in the area. We drove around a lot before we decided on The Two Rivers Campground. It's only about two miles from Opryland and the same from the huge Bass Pro Shop. Their office also has a wide selection of tour tickets and many of the local tour buses will pick you up right there. There is a nice local show right next door and it always has well known "unexpected" guests. The sites are a little close - as you can see in the picture - but are level and easy to get into. No problem getting a dish signal eather. The last time we were in there we stayed a week and it cost us $150.00 for a 50 amp FHU and they gave us some sort of military discount. WiFi was free and almost always available.
