Been to a great campground lately? Is there one that could use improvement? Let's talk about YOUR campground experiences here. *** Please remember: Many campgrounds are also members of our network. They are here because they care what RVers want - so if you've had a bad experience, please do not use this forum to "bash" the campground - simply tell us what could be improved. This will help campground operators serve you better.

When you get off the beaten path you never know what you might find. You won't find this one in any book or web site. There is a really nice FHU pull-thru RV Park in the City Park in Concordia, KS. There is no on site management, you just pull in and take any available site. Right across the street is a Super Wal-Mart and right next door is an National Guard compound. At dusk the city police start patroling the park and continue thru the night. You can stay as long as you like without "homesteading" and it's all free. When you leave there is a drop box for donations. We found this going down US-81. Saw a sign that said "City Park - free RV Parking". Can't see the sites from the highway so you have to take a chance and drive in. It's well worth the risk. http://www.camphalfprice.com/1fox/gallery/photo/337/ SC_Camper
