The Dunes is a fairly clean little nice get away easy walk to the beach
very friendly we were amazed to find that we were the first HC members to ever use there membership there.
I love the idea that they have the little play area there for kids right where you can see them from any of the rv camp area's
if you want to use the firepits you need to goto the office and ask them
to bring you a pitt otherwise you think what fire pitt when they say they they have firepitts.
not to far from the town of ocean shores. for those with big rigs and slides there isn't alot of room for the use of slides if they are busy wtih alot of rv campers.
Its not a pretty park but its nice and pretty peaceful if you don't expect much in alot of looks then its a great place if you want lots of grass etc at your site you won't get it unless you are a tent camper...
bathrooms are placed in the middle of the grounds close to the rv campers trailers so you have a short little walk if your a tent camper they also have several cabins.
very friendly couple that works the office and grounds.
We had a bit of confussion this past time with calling for our reservations with it being mem holiday we new to call left a msg for them to call back as they were gone. they didn't call after a week We called back and got a guy who told us they were booked and had been for 3 months ok. so find something else. not a half hour later she called with our reservation site. found that rather strange. when we got to the camp ground that next day talk cutting it close right. lol there was only 3 other campers by the following day there were only 6 other units and one cabin used and 8 tent campers.
the moral of the little story talk to the Lady there not the guy. we have found out by other campers they get the same thing we got from him.
