Married for thirty years to a wonderful handyman. Getting ready to do some rving. Just bought our first motorhome last week and we are planning our first trip later in June. I would like to go someplace in California that is fairly easy to get to, cool, shady and peaceful... quiet... someplace where you can feel the breeze in your hair, hear the birds chirping and a bubbling creek flowing... someplace to really relax and meditate... is there anyplace like that left in the world, or are there loud stereos and screaming kids everywhere? Don't get me wrong, I love people and especially the little ones. God bless 'em. I just don't like to hear them screaming and crying when I am resting, or just enjoying some peace and quiet. I am so tired of the squeeling tires, endless traffic noise, loud stereos with a bass rumbling that rattles your windows from 2 blocks away, sirens, horns honking, car alarms, people above me stomping around inconsiderately late at night and early in the morning... I am soooo ready for a vacation to somewhere peaceful.
So, if anyone out there knows what I am talking about and have found that cool, shady, peaceful place, please let me know the name of it.
