This is me!
Please note my John Deere clothing line - a must for all Tool-Happies.
I have always been mechanically inclined, since childhood. Even as a small Happy, I was taking things apart and putting them back together. As I grew older, I was naturally attracted to camping and RVs... it seemed something was always breaking, and there was a need to have a Happy like me around.
A few years ago, I met my friend and mentor, Mark Polk of RVEducation101.com Mark taught me lots of stuff about RVs, and now he's helping me get certified as a technician. We have a couple hurdles to overcome, but we're working it out.
For one thing, the technical school doesn't know what Happies are. They think their students all have to be people, so I'm having a little trouble getting accepted as a student. Then, of course, there's the situation with the last few jobs I've done... I'm a bit out of luck getting references...
But, all that aside, it's "onward and upward!" I'm going to be an apprentice with Mark, and we're headed out to Niagara Falls for my first trip with the Polks! Dawn is lots of fun, (cute, too), and I can't wait to meet the boys. They don't really want me to come, because it's supposed to be a family trip, but I'll bet once they meet my dog, Hammer, they'll relent a little.
Check my blog! We'll be documenting some great stuff about how to fix broken stuff - including your RV!
