I am president of Happy Camper Club, a nationwide half-price camping club for RVers.
We host this site to share discount camping with RV ers, and to create an environment online that's friendly for all RV ers - even kids and teens.
I am a home-schooling, RV ing mom of two teens, Daniel and Debb. My husband, Bob, and I are campground owners - owners of Shiloh Resorts in Louisiana, avid RV ers, and explorers of interesting sites and historical places. We love camping with our grown kids; it's a great way to get together and share time with them doing things we love; boating, fishing, cooking and spending time on the water. Our grandkids are third-generation RV ers, and we like to know they are in a safe and friendly place for kids - even online.
We created this Online Social Club in order to give RVers a place to "play" with others who share their interests - even when travel is not possible. We have also had feedback from thousands of people who are new to RVing, and have asked us how they can learn more. What better way than to meet other RVers and read about their trips?
We know it's going to be great fun; and I hope that by talking first-hand with RVers online, I will better able to serve our thousands of members who share our passion for camping - and saving money.
